About AugustaGo

AugustaGo is a community website for Augusta, Georgia. It's a place to find local people, small businesses, nonprofits, events, and ways to help — without ads, comments, or an algorithm deciding what you see.

It's built and maintained by community members for community members. There is no parent company.

Comment sections often turn into drama or harassment, and they don't help most people find what they need. AugustaGo focuses on real, useful information.

The directory is opening in Phase 2. When it's live, anyone in the Augusta area will be able to submit a listing for themselves, their business, or their group through a sign-up form. People can keep separate profiles (for example a teacher profile and an artist profile) and pick which one shows up by default when someone searches their name.

Not yet — for now AugustaGo works in any web browser on phone, tablet, or computer. A dedicated app may come later.

Soon there will be a sign-up area to volunteer, mentor others, post job needs, or connect with employers. For now, share this site with neighbors who'd find it useful.
